Ronald Winterton ran for election to the Utah State Senate to represent District 26. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018. Ron assumed office on January 1, 2019. His current term ends on January 1, 2023. Before being elected as a state senator he served as a county commissioner.

As we conclude the sixth week of the legislative session and look ahead to the final week, we are working to balance the state budget while continuing to review policy proposals. The remaining work includes final committee hearings and extended floor debates as bills approach their final votes.
